Entrepreneurship and the green transition were on the agenda when Harald Mix visited Ruter Dam's board group

Ruter Dam's membergroup Board of Directors had the honour of welcoming Harald Mix, passionate business leader and entrepreneur. Harald is well known as the initiator and co-founder of Northvolt, as well as co-owner of Altor and chairman of H2 Green Steel. He is a prominent figure in the business world and often written about in the media.

It was an interactive evening where the participants asked questions about b.la Northvolt and H2 Green Steel, but also about Harald's latest investment Syre – a company that will recycle polyester and contribute to a more sustainable textile industry. We got to take part of Harald's broad experience and insights from the different companies he is involved in and also an insight into his driving forces, values and how he strives to make a positive difference. The discussion also focused on the importance of board work to promote sustainability issues and social change.

Some keey takeaways:

The green transition is central to all companies. The goal in all their companies is to reduce global warming by 1%. The technology already exists to cope with the transition, it is coordination, collaborations and actions that are needed.

To respond to the climate crisis, industrial changes are required and Sweden has the capacity to change.

It is important to partner and jointly help their customers meet the challenges of the future.

Harald Mix's involvement in the companies he works contributes to us being able to adapt more quickly, influences other players to increase the speed of their transition and thus contributes to innovation, growth and sustainable development.

Many thanks to Harald and to everyone who participated on site with commitment, wonderful energy and wise questions!
