The Ruter Dam of the Year 2023 is awarded to Nina Jönsson. The honorary award is given to the woman who has: has been promoted to the most influential managerial position in Swedish business in the past
Year.​

 

This year's Ruter Dam describes herself as creative and competitive, likes to drive engagement in both with and adversity and since January 2023 has been President and CEO of ICA Gruppen – Nina Jönsson. Nina
Jönsson has extensive experience in retail from senior positions in both customer and retail sectors.
supplier side – at Procter & Gamble, HL Display and most recently as President and CEO of Plantasjen.
She has also been Director of Assortment and Purchasing at ICA Sweden, where she has now returned to the position of CEO and and CEO of ICA Gruppen, attracted by the challenge of turning around the commercial trend.

"I am proud of the award, not least because the Ruter Dam network has meant so much to me
over the years, both privately and professionally. It's a great forum to talk about leadership issues and
challenges, but also to gain new perspectives. It is a great asset in my leadership at
ICA where we are close to the customers in their everyday lives in everything from food, health, banking and insurance. We want to be relevant
for everyone and must always have an ear to the rails," says Nina Jönsson.
